The Legislature passed Senate Bill 38 in the 2008 General Session requiring the State Division of Finance to create a free website, accessible to the public that contains state and local entity financial information in the spirit of transparency and accountability of government finances.

Enterprise Fund Administrative & Overhead Cost Accounting & Transfers

Utah State law requires a municipality that intends to transfer money from an enterprise fund to another fund must provide notice of the intended transfer, hold a separate and independent public hearing, and report certain enterprise fund accounting data.
