Council Member Jeff West

 

Jeff is a long-time resident of Washington Terrace City. He was raised in South Ogden attending South Ogden Jr. High and Bonneville High Schools. After high school Jeff began studies at Weber State University. He served a mission for the LDS church in Venezuela before completing his B.A degree in Zoology, Chemistry, and Spanish.

Jeff married his high school sweetheart, the former Marylynn Stewart, in 1983. After graduating from Weber State in 1986, Jeff and Mary made their home in Washington Terrace where they have raised five children. Their three daughters are married, two have chosen to remain in Washington Terrace and the other lives in South Ogden. Their two sons are currently attending Weber State University. Jeff and Mary enjoy spending time with their family and their 6 grandchildren.

Jeff has worked as a consultant for software solutions companies throughout his career. He has managed implementation, customer service, and development teams, as well as leading international partnerships and overseeing new business development. He is currently employed with VibeHCM, Inc., a company that provides HR and payroll solutions for medium to large companies.

Jeff has traveled to many countries and has been to all 50 states at least once. He tells people all the time that there is no better place to live than Utah, and in Utah we are fortunate to live in a great community called Washington Terrace.

Jeff enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with family, and traveling. He is active in church and community and wants to do all he can to keep Washington Terrace a great place to live and to raise families.
