Council Member Zunayid Z. Zishan

Zunayid started his journey in America as an immigrant almost 15 years ago, in search of a better future and a higher education. He fell in love with Utah's natural beauty and its incredibly kind people.

Zunayid decided to continue his education at the University of Utah and graduated with a finance degree. In the process, he met his life partner, got married, and now they call Washington Terrace their home, where they are raising their two children.

Zunayid feels incredibly grateful for the opportunities he received in America and believes he's at a point in his life when it's time to give back to his community. In addition to serving as a City Council member, he also volunteers for Weber County's Sheriff's Department and loves volunteering in his community.
